Applications are invited for one position of Project Associate II to work for the National Quantum Mission Project “Field deployable quantum enhanced hybrid sensor with the integrated photonic platform”. (PI: Dr. Sourav Dutta) in the Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics, TIFR Mumbai.

POST: Project Associate II (PA-II
QUALIFICATION- Essential: Completed all requirements for a Master’s degree in Physics with minimum of 60% marks. Qualified in any national level test such as NET, JEST or entrance test of TIFR, IISc etc.
Desirable:
M.Sc. coursework with courses on atomic physics and quantum optics.
Experience:
2 years of experience in Research in an Academic Institution in the field of ultracold atoms including design and assembly of optical setups, development of lasers, design of vacuum components, laser frequency stabilization, and development of associated electronics.
Job Requirement:
The Project Associate II will be involved in the various tasks of this project, such as Documentation of experimental results and preparing reports Design of optical setup Frequency stabilization of
lasers Development of the D.A.Q. and related electronics for the ultracold atoms setup Recording and analyzing data from the vapor cell setup and ultracold atom setup.
Age Requirement:
Below 30 will be Preferred.
Stipend:
Rs. 35,000 + HRA
