Online Applications are invited for engagement of Research Associates on a contractual basis for one year on 36 vacancies in the recruitment year 2025, at the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, on a fixed honorarium of Rs. 25000/- per month only (subject to upward revision), from fresh Law Graduates who have completed or may complete their 5-year or 3-year Law degree course in the current Calender Year, i.e. 2025

Essential Qualifications:
1) Five year or three year Law degree obtained in the current calendar year, i.e. 2025, from any Law College or University recognised by Bar Council of India.
2) Applications shall be accepted from such ‘Law Graduates’ who have neither practiced as an advocate nor are engaged in any other profession or vocation/service.
3) Candidates who may have appeared in LL.B. (Final Year) Examination in 2025 and may be awaiting results, may also apply.
4) Only those Law Graduates who have scored 55% or more marks in their LL.B. examination are eligible to apply for engagement as
Research Associate.
5) Candidates must have working knowledge of Computer Applications involving Data Entry, Word Processing and similar computer operations.

Modalities for Engagement of Research Associates
(1) Only Fresh Law Graduates who have completed or may complete their 5- year or 3-year Law degree course in the current Calender Year (i.e. the Calender Year in which vacancies have been notified), may apply.
(2) Applicants must have completed 21 years of age and must not have completed 26 years of age as on the 1st day of July of the Calender Year of notification of vacancies.
(3) Law graduates who may have passed their law degree course in the examination held in any year before the said Calender Year, are not eligible.
(4) The candidates would be shortlisted to appear at the Screening Test and Interview Test, in order of merit according to the provisional Weightage Marks to be awarded on the strength of their academic performance etc.
(5) Weightage Marks shall be awarded provisionally, subject to valid application being submitted alongwith all requisite documents being uploaded alongwith the Application Form.
(6) The Weightage Marks provisionally awarded will be displayed on the official website of the Court. Objection(s), if any, may be raised against the provisionally awarded Weightage Marks.
(7) All objections raised would have to be supported by original documents relied in support of such objection. These may be sent by Speed Post within seven
(07) days of such objections by the candidates.
(8) Thereafter, the list of all candidates provisionally shortlisted to appear at the Screening Test & Interview Test, will be uploaded on the official website. It shall remain subject to verification of all original documents. If Weightage Marks awarded to two or more candidates are found equal, then the candidate(s) older in age shall be placed higher in the list of candidates provisionally shortlisted.
(9) Candidates three (03) times the number of existing vacancies or 150, may be shortlisted to appear at the Screening Test and Interview, subject to decision of the Committee, in order of their inter-se merit of Weightage Marks awarded.
(10) The Screening Test and the Interview Test, may be held on the same day, at Prayagraj.
(11) Subject to Clause 7 above, all original documents shall be verified, to determine the final eligibility for the Screening Test & Interview Test. Weightage Marks shall be finalized for all candidates. Upon award of final Weightage Marks, if any candidate is found not eligible to be shortlisted, his candidature shall be
cancelled, notwithstanding their participation in the Screening Test and Interview Test.
(12) Final selection from amongst the shortlisted candidates would be merit-based solely on the strength of aggregate of marks obtained by individual candidates, i.e., final Weightage Marks together with merit marks awarded at the
Screening Test & Interview Test, with first right to join to be granted in order of merit, subject to final decision of the Committee to the merit position upon which invitation for engagement may extended.

All the candidates those who are going to get select will on contractual period of 1 year which can be extended.The maximum term will not exceed two years. However, the engagement may be terminated at any time, without prior notice.
