Walk-in-interviews will be conducted on 18 March 2025 (Tuesday) at 01:30 pm in the Advanced
Computing & Microelectronics Unit (5th Floor of PJA Building) of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata for the recruitment of one (01) Project linked Research Associate purely temporarily to work on the project “Spiking Neural Networks” to be carried out at the Advanced Computing & Microelectronics Unit, Kolkata of the Indian Statistical Institute.
Candidates are required to bring with them a signed application with the subject “Application for PLP position for ACMU project”, addressed to the Professor-in-Charge, Computer & Communication Sciences Division along with the biodata (in English) which must include

QUALIFICATION:
M.E./ M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Computer Science/Electronics with proficiency in programming in Python/ С.
SALARY:
A consolidated pay ranging between 37000/- (Rupees thirty-seven thousand only) to 42000/- (Rupees forty-two thousand only) plus House Rent Allowance per month as per the rules of the Institute.
TENURE OF APPOINTMENT:
The appointment is initially for one year from the date of joining in the Institute, which may be extended later/ terminated earlier based on the performance, and availability of the required funds for the corresponding project.
AGE & RELAXATION:
Should not exceed 35 years as of 18 March 2025. Age may be relaxed for exceptionally bright candidates with relevant research experience. Usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled candidates will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
